For several years, we enjoyed breeding Yorkshire Terriers and placing puppies in the homes of wonderful families.  Due to changing responsibilities in our own family, we are no longer raising puppies.  Yes, we greatly miss the fun (and work) of new puppies.  However, we found that in the future we will simply be unable to devote the same amount of time to them.

Please be assured that we continue to be available to those of you who have adopted a "Kosoma Yorkie".  We still have Yorkies in our lives, and still have a great interest in the lives of our puppies and adults who have been placed with you.  Feel free to send updates and pictures, or ask questions, at any time!  You can contact us by email at info@kosomakennel.com or use the simple form below and click "Submit".

We've left a small collection of photos and videos on this page, for those of you who just like to look.  You'll also find photos and comments from some owners of Kosoma Yorkies, as well as a few useful links.

We have so enjoyed and loved these years of watching puppies play.  All our experiences--from the thrill of our first puppy being born to the grief of losing a beautiful baby--will be remembered and cherished.  We have appreciated the privilege of giving a happy, healthy start to the life of your beloved friends.
Welcome to Kosoma Kennel

Just look at these two little girls!  Double trouble, or twice as nice?  Either way, Annie's family says, "Annie is the perfect addition to our family.  She is a sweet, mild-mannered little girl who enjoys playing with her toys, cuddling on the couch, and chasing our other Yorkie around the house.  She is everything we had hoped she would be and more.  We were initially hesitant about purchasing a puppy over the internet, but were quickly set at ease through our interactions with Jennifer.  She quickly responded to all of our questions and was a delight to deal with.  We highly recommend Kosoma Kennel to anyone looking for a happy, healthy Yorkie.  Thank you for everything!!"  We are so pleased with Annie's new home in Wisconsin, and know she's as happy as can be!
This little tough guy found a new home here in Oklahoma.  His mom says, "Carson has been a wonderful addition to our family! He loves playing with the kids, chasing them in the yard and around the house. He loves going to the lake and jumping in the water with the kids. He doesn't like to stay home and rides in the car with us every chance he gets. He was pretty much crate trained when we got him and in the month we have had him he has been completely housebroke. He has been a dream come true!!! I would definitely recommend Kosoma Kennels to anyone looking to add a 4-legged friend to their family. We couldn't be happier with Carson! Thank you so much for letting him become a part of our family!"  And we thank you for being such a great family for Carson!
(Comment only, no pics)  Gizmo is quite the traveler--he's gone from fall leaves in Oklahoma to winter snow in Vermont!  We're sure his great new family is keeping him toasty warm with plenty of play.  Dad says, "Both my wife and I were very satisfied with our puppy and would recommend Kosoma Kennel to anyone looking for a puppy.  We were both a little nervous ordering a puppy over the internet, but we couldn't have found a better dog.  Thanks again."
Sherman loves his new family in Washington! He's shown here with mom and dad, who say, "We absolutely adore our puppy Sherman!  He has really become the center of our lives from day 1 that we got him home.  This is, in no doubt, due to the wonderful people who began raising him.  Jennifer and everyone at Kosoma Kennel are fantastic people to get your new family member from.  These puppies they raise are not just dogs to them.  They love them, teach them how to socialize, and raise all around great puppies.  Sherman has always been fun, full of energy, and has never been afraid to meet new people or try new things.  He has exceeded every expectation that we ever had about having a puppy.  When we're ready for a second puppy, we will definitely be getting him or her from Kosoma Kennel."   We're so pleased Sherman has a great mom and dad!
Hold on tight
One of our girls adopted as an adult, Maggie is loving her new home in Texas!  Her new family says they "wouldn't take nothing for her....She eats well, sleeps with us, and generally comes when you call."  They're enjoying Maggie's antics:  "The terrier in her is very evident....She got into a fight with herself in the mirror yesterday; we like to have died laughing."  The final verdict?  "We are really enjoying Maggie more than you will ever know."  We're so happy to have placed Maggie in a home she so obviously loves.

Lacy is now a California girl! Lacy's mom says, "Jennifer was great she answered all questions I had and beyond to make everything great. Our puppy is wonderful, in great health, and is thriving. We love her so much. My husband was worried about buying off the internet but Jennifer was great as is her family. I would recommend Kosoma Kennels to anyone looking for a yorkie."  We know Lacy is loving her new home!

Here are Spencer & Sadie!  Mom's comment:  "My name is Carolyn, and I live in Tucson, AZ.  I have gotten 3 yorkies from Kosoma Kennel in the last couple of years.  They are the most wonderful dogs ever.  They are sweet tempered, smart, and everything a yorkie should be, and more.  I actually call them “yokies”, as they are from Oklahoma, so I combined the “oakie” with yorkie, and you have “yokies”!  I love these dogs with all my heart, they truly are my best friends.  I have 3 siamese cats, also, and the dogs love the cats, they all get along great.  Sadly, the second dog I got from Kosoma ran out fromy mother's home last year, and we lost him to the severe desert environment, but I soon got Sadie, my tiny girl with the big ears, and she and Spencer have become inseparable.  These dogs are happy, healthy, spirited, sweet dogs, and I recommend Kosoma Kennel to anyone out there looking for the perfect “yokie”. Jennifer is conscientious and knows her dogs, and will answer any questions you may have, and we have actually stayed in touch and become friends through the internet and our dogs. If you are looking for a wonderful pet, this is the place to go.  In the future, if I wish to adopt any more “yokies”, I will always go back to Kosoma Kennel.  The people and dogs are the best!"

Lucy was adopted as an adult, and has been having a wonderful time in her new home.  She loves belly rubs, chasing squirrels, and (gasp) cheese whiz!  Hmmm....we will have to admit she's stepped up in the snack department.   Her family says they have such a good time together, and we can just imagine that Lucy is  L-O-V-ing it all!
(Comment only, no pic) Capone's new mom says he is "full of joy.  He is very playful and loves new people.  His favorite game is tug of war and he also loves to play fetch.  He has brought so much joy to me and my roommate."  We're sure Capone is verrrry satisfied with his new home!

Jazzi's name says it all!  We were especially careful selecting a home for this tiny girl, and her new family was worth the wait.  Shortly after her arrival, Dad wrote, "Jazzi has already adapted quite well to our family.  We are enjoying every moment with her....Thank you again for our precious puppy."  Jazzi's also become quite an accomplished girl.  In a later update, Dad says, "she is very smart.  She will sit, shake, dance, spin around, lay down, and our favorite is when she plays dead."  WOW!
Emmy Sue just looks like the sweetest girl!  We were sorry to see her leave us, but know that she's loved more than enough by her new family.  Soon after arriving at her new home she fit in with new furry friends ("she keeps up with the pack!") and snagged the treat of sleeping in a real bed.  Mom says she is "happy, healthy, and loving.  A great addition to our family."
(Comment only, no pics)  Parker lives here in Oklahoma with Dee-Dee and Hailey, who say, "Parker is the cutest!  We are extremely pleased with him and can tell that he was very well cared for prior to coming to us.  This was such a great experience dealing with you.  You are a top-notch breeder in our books!  If ever we want another puppy, we'll definitely come to you and will also recommend you highly to others!"  We are just as pleased ourselves with Parker's new home, and we know he will have many years of fun and love.

(Comment only, no pics)  Annabelle lives here in Oklahoma. Her mom Tiffany had wanted a Yorkie for a long time.  After seeing Annabelle in person for the first time, she wrote, "Thank you so much for Annabelle, she is so cute, and when he [her fiance] brought her home the bow in her hair was so cute. She just loves the kids and we love her.  She is such a good dog, and great to be around.  Thank you so much, she was the perfect birthday present."  We are happy Annabelle is so loved!

Bogey looks quite handsome, doesn't he?  He's now a Texas gentleman, and it's reported that he "adjusted very quickly to his new home.  He has been in excellent health and loves to run and play with the other two dogs in the household.  He's potty trained very quickly and kennel trained almost instantaneously.  It's obvious that the breeders provided a loving, healthy start for him with lots of socializing."  We're sure Bogey is thoroughly enjoying every minute of life in his new home!

(Comment only, no pics)  Doc (as in Doc Holiday, of course) still lives in Oklahoma, and gets to play with kids every day.  Mom says he is "smart, so very cute, social, and very loving.  He has such a spunky personality.....I couldn't have asked for a better puppy or person to buy him from."   We couldn't have asked for a better family for him either!
(Comment only, no pics) Chaos is the name, fun is the game!  Chaos just loves his home with his new (two-legged) brother and mom, who says, "I was hesitant initially with purchasing Chaos over the the internet; however, you made it simple and quite painless.  I love my pup!!"  We know that Chaos is having a blast with his new family!
